Biography:

Mr. Muhammad Usman, Former Director General of Agricultural Research System, Government of Pakistan who retired from service after a spotless career of about 35 years with senior level experience on research and development of integrated agricultural production, industries plant science, genomic and bioenergy on a sustainable way.Mr. Usman is basically an agricultural scientist with specialization of agricultural, food and biochemistry working on the yield and quality of various products and published several research papers.Mr. Usman is consider as the senior most scientist in the world, always participated in the international conferences as a keynote speech, renowned speaker, organizing committee member as well as moderator of the conferences around the world.Mr. Usman established “Prominent Agro Based Industries, Agro Based Industries and Consultancy SDN BHD” in Malaysia and “Foundation for Rural Development in Pakistan”, with primarily aims to work on integrated agricultural project for Rural Development through improvement in agriculture and consultancy services to the formers at Malaysia.

Abstract:

The aims of presentations consist of plant science, plant genomics, south Asia, poverty and hunger which were studied in order to find out the role of plant science and plant genomics on improvement of health, poverty and hunger in the developing countries of the world like South Asia. Plant science is the major branch of agriculture consist of various agro based industries like biochemistry, biotechnology, nutrition, breading, production, nursery and floriculture, environmental science, produce specific food including cereals, fruits, vegetables, meats, fiber. A genomic is the genetic materials of an organism. It consist of DNA (or RNA in RNA viruses). The genomic includes both the genes the noncoding DNA and genetic materials of the mitochondria and chloroplasts. Genomic is an area within genetics that concerns the sequencing and analysis of an organism genome. Genetic is the study of single genes and their role in the way traits or condition are passed from one generation to the next. Genomic is a term that describes the study of all parts of an organism genes. South Asia comprises the countries of Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, and Sri-Lanka. South Asia is about one fifth of the world’s population, which is considered as the most densely populated region in the world. Similarly, all the agro based industries of plants science and genomic produced the quality food production, absorbing millions of technical and nontechnical people, generate income, create employment, reducing poverty and hunger in the world. In the light of above study, it is proposed to commercialize all the industries of plant science and genomics in the developing countries of the world like South Asia.
